Just four high school basketball games were played in the Wayne Finger-Lakes region on Wednesday night after single-digit temperatures and below-zero wind chills prompted numerous school closures.
The Dundee/Bradford girls returned to the win column with a dominant performance at Romulus, led by senior Kendall Parker, who dropped a game-high 31 points. Meanwhile, the Geneva girls bounced back with a double-digit win at Naples. On the boys’ side, Marcus Whitman suffered a third straight loss at Batavia as Brody Royston remained out with an ankle injury and Red Creek rolled past winless Hannibal.
