A Walworth man was arrested Thursday after allegedly breaking into an apartment in the Town of Ontario, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Kyle M. Vanderkamp, 36, of Hennessey Road, faces charges of second-degree criminal trespass and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Authorities allege Vanderkamp damaged a window screen before entering the apartment.
Deputies responded to the scene after receiving a report of a burglary in progress. Vanderkamp was taken into custody without incident and later issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Ontario Court. He is scheduled to appear on February 5 at 1 p.m.
