Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Farmington teen on January 18 in connection with an October incident of criminal mischief in the Town of Canandaigua.
Dominic Marciano Rivera, 19, of Buckskin Drive, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief after an investigation revealed he damaged a Subaru Crosstrek by punching off its driver’s side mirror on Outhouse Road on October 30, 2024. The cost of the damage exceeded $250, elevating the charge to a felony.
Rivera was taken into custody without incident and later released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear before Canandaigua Town Court at a later date.
Authorities remind the public that criminal mischief charges are serious offenses and encourage reporting property damage incidents promptly.
