President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance’s official portraits were unveiled ahead of their January 20 inauguration, highlighting their contrasting personas.

Trump’s portrait, described as defiant, features him in a blue suit and tie with a raised eyebrow reminiscent of his 2023 mugshot, which he used as a campaign fundraising tool after denying charges related to the 2020 election.
Vance’s portrait offers a lighter tone, with a smiling, arms-crossed pose that emphasizes his youthful rise to political prominence. At 40, Vance will be the youngest vice president in decades and the first with facial hair in nearly a century.
