Congresswoman Claudia Tenney has officially launched the 2025 Congressional Art Competition, inviting high school students from New York’s 24th Congressional District to showcase their artistic talents. This annual event, established in 1982, celebrates young artists across the country, with the winning entry displayed in the United States Capitol for one year.
Students are encouraged to submit original works in various mediums, including paintings, drawings, photography, and mixed media. Submissions will be judged by a panel of experts from NY-24. In last year’s competition, Tenney’s office received over 30 entries from high schoolers throughout the district.
Artwork will be accepted at Tenney’s district offices from April 14 to April 18, 2025. Students must include all required paperwork with their submissions.
