A 22-year-old driver lost control Monday afternoon, crashing into a garage on State Route 31 in Palmyra, according to police. The Port Gibson Fire Department reported significant damage to the structure but assured it remained stable and not at risk of collapse.
Neighbors revealed similar accidents had occurred before in the area. One resident recounted past incidents, including a box truck hitting their house and a car veering into their yard. They urged drivers to exercise more caution.
Authorities are currently investigating the crash.
