Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord announced his decision Friday to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft, opting not to seek an NCAA eligibility waiver for an additional season, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
McCord posted the following statement on his social media accounts
In his standout season at Syracuse, McCord led the nation in passing with 4,779 yards, setting single-season records for both the ACC and the program.
The 22-year-old played a pivotal role in guiding the Orange to their first 10-win season since 1992.
McCord becomes the seventh Syracuse player to enter the draft, joining Oronde Gadsden II, Jackson Meeks, Fadil Diggs, LeQuint Allen Jr., Alijah Clark, and Clarence Lewis.
