FRIDAY HS BASKETBALL REPORT: Palmyra-Macedon’s Taryn Goodness joins 1000-point club; Newark boys outlast Mynderse to snap five-game skid

Friday night delivered another full slate of Wayne-Finger Lakes High School basketball, with 18 games across the region.

The night was highlighted by Palmyra-Macedon senior Taryn Goodness scoring her 1,000th point in the first quarter at Wayne. Meanwhile, the Newark boys returned to the win column with a narrow victory at Mynderse, ending a five-game losing streak.
