Senator Helming sworn in for new term at state capitol

Senator Pam Helming took the oath of office in the Senate Chamber on Wednesday, January 8, officially beginning her new term as representative of the 54th Senate District. The ceremony marked the start of the 2025 New York State legislative session.

“This is a moment of great pride for me and my family. I am truly honored and thankful to serve the residents of the 54th Senate District,” said Helming, who has been a steadfast advocate for the Finger Lakes region throughout her tenure.

Helming reaffirmed her commitment to strengthening community ties and prioritizing constituent services. “I will always be a dedicated voice and advocate for the Finger Lakes region. I will be forever grateful for this amazing opportunity to serve,” she said.

Helming represents a district that includes parts of Ontario, Seneca, Cayuga, Tompkins, and Wayne counties.
