Emergency crews responded to a rollover crash Saturday amid treacherous whiteout conditions in Tyre.
The Clyde-Galen Fire District was dispatched on January 4 to a reported motor vehicle accident with possible entrapment.
Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle overturned on its roof. Fortunately, no one was trapped inside and no serious injuries were reported. Officials on the scene described whiteout conditions, advising all responding units to use extreme caution while navigating the area.
Fire crews worked to stabilize the vehicle and establish traffic control to ensure safety amid the hazardous weather. Once a tow truck arrived, responders assisted with clearing the vehicle from the roadway.
All units returned to service after successfully managing the incident. Officials praised the coordinated effort of responding teams under challenging conditions.
