Claudia Tenney begins fourth term in Congress

U.S. Rep. Claudia Tenney was sworn in for her fourth term representing New York’s 24th Congressional District, which now includes northern Cayuga County after redistricting. The district stretches from western New York to Watertown, covering towns like Aurelius and Sterling.

Tenney emphasized her commitment to transparent leadership and delivering results for her constituents. Changes from redistricting shifted parts of Cayuga County into the 22nd District and relocated her primary office to Canandaigua, with other offices remaining in Lockport, Oswego, and Watertown.

One of Tenney’s first actions was supporting Speaker Mike Johnson, highlighting her alignment with House GOP goals to advance key priorities and address national challenges.
