A 64-year-old Phelps resident has been charged after allegedly soliciting inappropriate photos from a minor, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested Gerald R. Walker on July 11 at his home on White Road. He was charged with criminal solicitation in the fourth degree following an investigation into text messages he reportedly sent to a known 16-year-old female.
Walker was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge in Phelps Town Court at a later date.
