Three people face charges, including enterprise corruption, stemming from a series of larcenies in Ontario County in July, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Alyssa Rondon, 33, of Geneva, was arrested Dec. 11, and Branden Rhodes, 31, of Farmington, was arrested Dec. 20. Arrest warrants were also obtained Dec. 20 for David Fallon, 42, currently incarcerated at Elmira Correctional Facility on unrelated charges.
The charges follow an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division into multiple incidents in July. Investigators found that Fallon, Rondon, Rhodes and others acted together to commit crimes in several Ontario County towns.
Fallon, Rondon and Rhodes are each charged with:
- Criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree for possessing a $3,499 Husqvarna lawn mower on July 17. The mower had been stolen from a business in the Newark area. This charge was filed in the Town of Phelps.
- Criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree for possessing a John Deere lawn mower on July 20. The mower had been stolen from a private residence in the Border City area of Seneca County. This charge was filed in the Town of Geneva.
- Grand larceny in the third degree for stealing a Bad Boy lawn mower and its utility trailer from a Canandaigua apartment complex on July 22. The stolen property was valued at $7,100. The mower and trailer were recovered Sept. 10 during a search warrant execution at Grisby Auto Sales in Rochester. This charge was filed in the Town of Canandaigua.
- Grand larceny in the third degree for stealing a Husqvarna lawn mower and its utility trailer from a Geneva business on July 30. This charge was filed in the Town of Geneva.
- Enterprise corruption, for participating in three or more felonies as part of an ongoing criminal enterprise.
Fallon and Rondon also face a charge of third-degree burglary for a July 28 larceny at the Walmart on Routes 5 and 20 in Geneva. They allegedly stole $497 worth of merchandise. The burglary charge stems from prior bans issued to both Fallon and Rondon prohibiting them from entering any Walmart store.
Rondon and Rhodes were arraigned and released to pre-trial services. They are scheduled to appear in court at a later date. Fallon’s arraignment is pending due to his incarceration at the state facility.
Charges are pending against other individuals involved in the incidents.
