Seneca Falls man charged with trespass and menacing after domestic incident

A Seneca Falls man faces criminal charges following a domestic incident in the early hours of Dec. 15 in the Town of Aurelius, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.

Ryan A. Nesbitt, 31, was arrested after allegedly entering a residence without permission and engaging in a physical altercation with the victim. Sheriff Brian Schenck reported that Nesbitt has been charged with criminal trespass and menacing in the third degree.

Deputies responded to the incident around 2:13 a.m. Nesbitt was processed on both charges and later arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court, where he was released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Aurelius Court at a later date.

In 2023 Nesbitt was arrested for assault after being accused of headbutting a person during another physical altercation.
