Two individuals were arrested for allegedly stealing tools from a Tractor Supply store in the Town of Sennett on December 2.
According to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, Sasha E. Binns, 47, of Port Byron, and Jeffrey P. Shields, 31, of Auburn, took DeWalt tools and fled in a dark-colored sedan. A juvenile female was also involved. Deputies identified the suspects using store security footage.
Binns and Shields were charged with petit larceny and sixth-degree conspiracy.
Both were arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court. Binns is held without bail due to pending charges, while Shields is held on $2,000 cash bail or $4,000 bond. The juvenile received an appearance ticket.
