A months-long investigation into an October incident at Outlaw Speedway in Dundee led to the arrest of two Waterloo residents on multiple charges, the Yates County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Jamie M. Eldredge Sr., 50, and Bambi E. Hurlbert, 48, were taken into custody on December 14 after turning themselves in to authorities. Eldredge faces three counts of third-degree assault and a charge of second-degree harassment. Hurlbert has been charged with third-degree assault and two counts of third-degree menacing.
The charges stem from an altercation on October 19 at 82 Main Street in Dundee, where investigators determined that Eldredge sprayed multiple people with a chemical aerosol device. During the same incident, Hurlbert also allegedly used a chemical aerosol device on one person and chased others while threatening them with the spray.
Both Eldredge and Hurlbert were processed at the Yates County Sheriff’s Office and were held for arraignment in Yates County CAP Court.
