Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, R-24 of Cleveland, Oswego County, has been selected as New York’s regional representative on the Republican Policy Committee for the 119th Congress, her office announced.
The committee, established in 1949, provides a platform for House Republicans to develop legislative proposals aligned with conservative principles. Tenney expressed gratitude for the role, emphasizing the need for federal advocacy against state-level policies she described as oppressive. She highlighted her commitment to working with committee leaders and colleagues to craft solutions addressing national challenges.
Policy Committee Chairman Kevin Hern welcomed Tenney’s involvement, noting the upcoming Congress as a critical opportunity to enact meaningful change and advance an America First agenda.
