A Rochester man was arrested Sunday evening following a shoplifting incident at Von Maur in Eastview Mall.
Carlos Ramirez-Suaza, 34, of N. Goodman Street, was taken into custody around 5:58 p.m. Deputies allege that Ramirez-Suaza attempted to leave the store without paying for $75 worth of merchandise.
He was processed and released with an appearance ticket. Ramirez-Suaza is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to answer the larceny charge.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office did not provide additional details about the items involved or the circumstances of the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
