Wayne County Man Arrested for Endangering Welfare of a Child

A 27-year-old man is facing charges after a domestic dispute in Lyons that reportedly endangered the welfare of two children.

Deputies arrested Isiah J. Romero, of Bishop Road in Lyons, on Thursday morning following an alleged altercation at a residence. According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Romero grabbed a woman by the neck during the dispute while a child was in the room. He is also accused of pushing another woman who was holding a baby.


Romero was taken into custody and transported to the Wayne County Jail. He is awaiting centralized arraignment, scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday.

The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
