The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office has announced that Lieutenant Michael Strohm recently completed the Course in Police Supervision at the Finger Lakes Law Enforcement Academy.

The three-week course, mandated for all first-line police supervisors within one year of promotion, is overseen by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services. The program provides comprehensive training on legal issues, incident management, community relations, and other essential topics, equipping new supervisors with the tools needed to excel in their leadership roles.

“The Sheriff’s Office congratulates Lieutenant Strohm on this achievement and wishes him continued success in his leadership role,” the department said in a statement.

Lieutenant Strohm’s accomplishment highlights the department’s commitment to maintaining professional excellence and fostering strong leadership within its ranks to better serve the community.
