The Waterloo Town Board unanimously approved its 2025 budget on Monday, reflecting a mix of spending decreases and increases across various funds.
General and highway fund appropriations dropped from $2.54 million to $2.39 million, while spending in 14 special districts, including water, sewer, and fire services, rose from $1.76 million to $1.97 million.
The total budget for 2025 stands at $4.36 million, a slight increase from $4.31 million in 2024. Tax rates will be $2.12 per $1,000 of assessed value townwide and $1.27 for village property owners.
