The Village of Clyde is gearing up for its beloved annual “Parade of Lights,” a day-long celebration of community and holiday cheer set for Saturday, November 23.
The festivities kick off at 10:30 a.m. with a 5K run organized by Willow Running. Food trucks will line South Park Street starting at 11 a.m., offering a variety of treats to fuel the day’s excitement.
The parade, a centerpiece of the event, will begin lining up at the bus garage from 5 to 5:30 p.m., with all community members invited to participate. The official start of the dazzling Parade of Lights is at 6 p.m., featuring Santa and Mrs. Claus, the Savannah Cellarsavers, and a performance by Down Beat Percussion.
After the parade, attendees can gather for the lighting of the park tree, followed by a spectacular fireworks display set to light up the night sky after 8 p.m.
Visitors can park at the Fireman’s Field to enjoy the fireworks. The Clyde Fire Hall will host music by Larry Davis and offer snacks and refreshments throughout the evening.
