The Finger Lakes Times reports the project includes expanding operations, assessing existing buildings for reuse, and introducing new features like logger training and wood-drying kilns.
The three-phase plan, which could span up to five years, aims to boost the company’s sales by 10-15% and add jobs. Phase 1 will focus on log yard expansion, while Phase 2 includes relocating a mulch business and creating training facilities. Phase 3 involves significant kiln investments.
The Wayne County IDA is considering a tax incentive package, with property acquisition expected by March 2025, pending approvals.
