Naples woman arrested for violating court order, damaging property

A Naples woman was arrested Wednesday afternoon following a domestic altercation that resulted in property damage and the violation of a court-issued order of protection.

Yates County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at 2123 Route 245 in the Town of Italy at approximately 12:54 p.m. Upon investigation, it was determined that Cierra J. Smith, 25, had allegedly broken a door frame during the altercation and was found to be in violation of a “stay away” order of protection.

Smith, a resident of the same address where the incident occurred, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and aggravated family offense. She was transported to the Yates County Jail, where she is awaiting arraignment at CAP Court.
