Geneva woman threatened person, injured them during domestic incident

Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson reported the arrest of a Geneva woman following a domestic incident in the Town of Tyre on November 10. Kari M. Walsh-Forshay, 32, of Genesee Street, was taken into custody around 6:15 p.m. and charged with Harassment in the 2nd degree and Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree.

The charges stem from allegations that during a domestic dispute, Walsh-Forshay threw a glass decoration belonging to another individual, causing it to shatter across the floor. She is also accused of kicking a cooler, which then struck a female victim in the leg, causing discomfort. Additionally, authorities allege Walsh-Forshay made threatening statements that alarmed the victim.

Walsh-Forshay was processed at the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and held for arraignment at the Centralized Arraignment Part Court, where an Order of Protection is expected to be issued.
