The Bath Police Department arrested two individuals Monday morning following a parole investigation conducted with New York State Parole officers at the Super 8 Motel on West Morris Street. Jordan E. Parkhurst, 29, of Bath, and Amber L. Hollar, 37, of Corning, were taken into custody after authorities discovered drug-related materials in their possession.
The arrests occurred around 8 a.m. on Oct. 28, when New York State Parole requested assistance from Bath Police during an investigation at the motel. According to police, Parkhurst was found with a quantity of suspected methamphetamine, along with packaging materials and a scale. He faces one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree, a class D felony, and is being held in Steuben County Jail on a parole violation pending arraignment.
Hollar was charged with Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree, a class A misdemeanor. She was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Bath Village Court on a later date. Hollar is also on parole in New York State.
No further details on the investigation have been released by law enforcement.
