The Town of Canandaigua has announced a temporary water shut-off affecting several streets on Tuesday as part of essential maintenance on the water main.
The outage, scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. and expected to last approximately four hours, will impact residents on County Rd. 16, North Menteth Dr., South Menteth Dr., Menteth Dr., Summerwind Dr., and Rochester Point Drive. During this period, water will be unavailable for drinking, cooking, and bathing.
Town officials recommend that residents prepare by filling containers with water for any necessary use during the outage. Jim Fletcher, the Town’s Highway & Water Superintendent, assured residents that crews will work efficiently to restore service as quickly as possible.
