Penn Yan Police arrested a local man on October 19 after discovering his driving privileges had been revoked for decades, officials said.
Robert W. Boyce, 64, was stopped on Main Street, where officers identified him as the driver after a DMV check indicated his license had been revoked since 1987 due to a DWI incident.
Boyce was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree. He was issued a traffic ticket and released, pending a court appearance in Penn Yan Village Court​.
