Mets magical season ends with loss to Dodgers in Game 6 of NLCS (highlights)

The New York Mets’ magical season ended on Sunday night in Los Angeles with a 10-5 loss to the Dodgers in Game 6 of the National League Championship Series.

Sean Manaea recorded just six outs and was charged with five runs. The Mets’ bullpen gave up five more, while the offense couldn’t muster enough to overcome the deficit. New York was 2-for-9 with runners in scoring position, leaving 13 men on base.


Mark Vientos smacked his fifth home run of the season, a solo shot in the fourth. Pete Alonso and Jeff McNeil had RBI singles, while Francisco Alvarez chipped in a sacrifice fly.
