A domestic incident on Bear Swamp Road led to the arrest of a Williamson couple, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested Jenifer Colfer, 44, and Nathaniel Colfer, 49, on October 15 after discovering that Jenifer had allowed Nathaniel to reside at her home despite a court-issued stay-away order of protection meant to safeguard one of their children.
Jenifer Colfer faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child, while Nathaniel Colfer was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree.
Both were taken into custody and transported to the Wayne County Jail, where they await arraignment in CAP court.
