The Ontario County Republican Committee has re-elected Trisha Turner as its chair during its reorganization meeting held on October 1 at the Elks Club in Canandaigua. This marks Turner’s fifth term at the helm of the committee, solidifying her leadership role within the county’s GOP.

Turner, a resident of Victor, is a prominent figure within the Republican Party, serving not only as the upstate vice chair of the New York State Republican Committee but also as the president of both the New York State Federation of Republican Women and the Ontario County Women’s Republican Club.
In addition to Turner’s re-election, the committee also selected its other officers. Chris Catt, chair of the Town of Victor Republican Committee, will serve as first vice chair. Gary Baxter of Geneva, the recently retired Ontario County treasurer, was elected second vice chair. Bonnie Ross, a former teacher and healthcare executive from Canandaigua, was named secretary, while Rob Patnesky, a retiree from Zotos International in Geneva, will assume the role of treasurer.
The committee’s leadership team will play a vital role in guiding local Republican efforts and strategies heading into upcoming elections.
