Waterloo man taken into custody on burglary charges after breaking into business

A Waterloo man has been arrested in connection with a burglary that took place earlier this month.

Arthur P. Porter, 59, was taken into custody on October 10 on an arrest warrant and faces multiple charges, including burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the third degree, and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree.

The charges stem from an investigation into a burglary that occurred on October 1 in the Village of Waterloo.

Authorities allege that Porter broke into a business, caused property damage, and was found in possession of stolen items. Porter was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he awaits arraignment.
