A Manchester woman was arrested Sunday morning after a family dispute led to charges of child endangerment and obstruction of governmental administration, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Samantha Cameron, 30, was taken into custody by deputies at her home on State Route 21 after authorities responded to a report of a verbal altercation. Following an investigation, Cameron was identified as the primary aggressor in the incident, which occurred around 7 a.m.
Deputies arrested Cameron without incident at 8:27 a.m. and transported her to the Ontario County Jail for processing. In addition to the child endangerment charge, she faces an obstruction charge for allegedly interfering with the deputies during their response to the dispute.
Authorities also requested a refrain-from order of protection on behalf of the victims involved in the incident. Cameron is scheduled to appear in Manchester Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
Cameron remains in custody and is awaiting arraignment.
