State police have arrested a Wayne County man following an investigation into a sexual assault at his home.
According to authorities, Matthew Foro, 47, held a woman at gunpoint and raped her. He threatened her life if she told police, according to investigators.
Following the incident the victim reported it to police and was taken to a nearby hospital.
A search was conducted at Foro’s home and all of his firearms were seized. He’s been charged with first-degree rape, first-degree criminal use of a firearm, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and second-degree menacing.
An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
