The much-anticipated mystery surrounding the blue building in Weedsport has been revealed, with local entrepreneur and retired Marine Corps veteran Jason Minnamon announcing the launch of NuME Wellness, Recovery, and Rejuvenation Center. The state-of-the-art facility is set to open its doors in late October or early November 2024, offering a range of advanced wellness services aimed at improving both physical and mental health.
“I’m excited to bring this project to the Weedsport community and contribute to the growth we’re seeing downtown,” Minnamon said. “My hope is that this center will not only enhance the health and wellness of local residents but also become a staple in the area.”
What the center will offer
NuME Wellness will feature a variety of high-tech treatments and therapies, including:
- Metabolic testing
- Hyperthermic and red light therapy
- Vibroacoustic therapy
- 3D body scanning
- Weight loss and rejuvenation therapies
In addition to these services, the center will include a boutique supplement retail store and a cafe offering protein shakes, smoothies, and acai bowls. The space will also host group yoga and meditation classes that incorporate breathwork, embodiment practices, and vibroacoustic therapy. Minnamon plans to collaborate with local businesses to expand class offerings and promote community engagement.
A flagship for national expansion

The Weedsport location will also serve as the flagship hub for a national wellness franchise that is set to roll out in February 2025. As the center’s training headquarters, it will play a pivotal role in expanding wellness services across the country.
Minnamon, who holds multiple certifications in personal training, nutrition coaching, and behavior change, said his goal is to help people reach their peak in fitness, nutrition, and mindset. With his experience as a high school football coach in Victor and Palmyra-Macedon, as well as his strong ties to Weedsport through his wife’s family, he sees the center as a way to give back to the community.
Grand opening details coming soon
While an official opening date has yet to be set, Minnamon encourages the community to stay tuned for upcoming announcements about the grand opening. “I look forward to meeting everyone in person once we open,” he said. “In the meantime, feel free to reach out if you have any questions.”
