The Faro Focus scanner allows officers to quickly scan a room in just over two minutes, creating detailed 3D models with millions of data points. Authorities emphasized how this tech improves scene reconstruction and enhances courtroom presentations.
Although it hasn’t yet been used in a real investigation, the sheriff’s office confirmed its staff is fully trained and ready to implement the technology when needed.
