The Rochester Folk Art Guild is inviting the public to a fall celebration at their farm on East Hill in Middlesex on Saturday and Sunday, October 12 and 13, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. This annual open house and apple festival will feature a range of family-friendly activities, including artisan demonstrations, farm-fresh food, and craft workshops.
Visitors can explore pottery, weaving, and woodworking studios, with artisans on hand to discuss their latest creations. Freshly pressed cider, organic apples, pears, and grapes will be available, alongside a lunch featuring hot squash soup and homemade desserts. Children can participate in creating flower notecards with dried leaves and flowers.
The Naples Valley Art Collective will also join the festivities, offering live music and additional artistic displays. East Hill Gallery will showcase natural fiber clothing, pottery, and carefully curated books. Located at 1445 Upper Hill Road, the Guild is easily accessible from Canandaigua, Naples, and Penn Yan.
