The event comes as the nation faces one of the most severe blood shortages in over a decade, significantly affecting medical treatments across the U.S.
The American Red Cross has declared a national blood crisis, and donations are urgently needed to prevent further delays in care for patients requiring life-saving treatments. Geneva General Hospital is encouraging local residents to take part in this life-saving event.
