A coordinated effort between several fire departments in Cayuga County resulted in a successful machine rescue at a bottle plant on County House Road in Sennett.
Responders from Sennett, Moravia, Fleming, Auburn, Throop, and Auburn City Ambulance arrived on the scene to assist, according to our partners at the Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire.
Sennett Fire Chief took command of the situation, with multiple rescue units responding.
The patient was extricated safely and transported to an area hospital, allowing other units, including a medevac team, to be stood down.
