Rochester woman arrested for DWI after driving wrong-way in Victor

A Rochester woman was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated after being observed driving on the wrong side of the road in the Town of Victor.


According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a complaint about a sick or intoxicated driver around 7:59 p.m. on Friday. The vehicle was located on County Road 41 and was found to be driven by Laura Marie Rawlins, 60, of Rochester.

After further investigation, Rawlins was arrested and issued a traffic citation for Driving While Intoxicated. She will appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
