Atlanta Man Arrested for Obstruction and Multiple Traffic Violations in Naples

Deputies arrested an Atlanta man after an incident in Naples over the weekend, according to a news release by the Ontario county Sheriff’s Office.

Andrew Seth Perry, 63, of Atlanta, was arrested on August 23, 2024, following a traffic stop on County Road 36 in the Town of Naples. Ontario County Sheriff Deputies conducted the stop at approximately 1:42 p.m. after observing a vehicle without license plates. Perry, the operator, was found to have a suspended license and was driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.

Perry initially refused to identify himself, leading to his arrest at around 2:21 p.m. for Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the 2nd degree. He was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where his identity was confirmed. Perry was also issued traffic citations for operating an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle, unlicensed operation, and aggravated unlicensed operation in the 3rd degree.

Perry is scheduled to appear in the Town of Naples Court on September 19, 2024, to answer the charges.
