A Binghamton man was arrested Tuesday evening on an outstanding warrant for drug possession issued by the Town of Lyons. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported that Joshua Barber, 40, of Upper Court Street, was taken into custody at 7:40 p.m. at a residence on Hawley Street in Binghamton.
Barber faces charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. He was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, where he is scheduled for CAP arraignment on August 21 at 7:00 a.m.
Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances leading to the warrant.
