A traffic stop in the Town of Galen late Friday night led to the arrest of a Savannah man on multiple charges, including driving while intoxicated.
Deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office pulled over Sean M. Gardner, 40, of Grand Avenue in Savannah, at around 11:30 PM. Authorities discovered Gardner was driving under the influence of alcohol on a public highway. He refused a breath test while in custody.
Gardner was charged with DWI, failure to keep right, lane violations, open container, and not updating his address with the DMV. He was taken to Wayne County Jail and awaits arraignment in CAP Court.
