Four faculty and staff members from Cayuga Community College have been awarded the prestigious SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence. The annual awards recognize outstanding contributions in areas such as teaching, service, and professional achievements within the State University of New York system.
This year’s recipients include Adjunct Instructor Daniel Ferens for his innovative teaching in business and computer science, Professor Terry Kupp for her leadership in academic support services, and Professor Michael Pacelli for his creative instructional methods in biology. Building Maintenance Mechanic Glenn Warner was honored for his exceptional service and dedication to the campus community.
Cayuga President Dr. Brian Durant praised the awardees, stating, “Their dedication to our students and commitment to our community exemplify Cayuga’s mission.” The recipients were celebrated at the college’s commencement ceremony on May 15 at Falcon Park in Auburn.
