Teamsters Local 118, representing nearly 900 Wegmans employees, ratified a new seven-year contract with a 27% pay increase.
Warehouse staff will earn up to $40 an hour, and drivers could make up to $200,000 a year.
The contract also includes better health care, overtime guarantees, and paid time off.
Union supporters called it a “landmark contract,” highlighting the benefits of union membership for grocery workers. Wegmans, based in Rochester, operates 111 stores, with many across the Finger Lakes.
