State cannabis enforcement crackdown continues in Auburn with illegal shop shut down

The Office of Cannabis Management, with help from concerned parents, shut down several illegal cannabis shops in Cayuga County on Tuesday, including “Blue Smoke” in Auburn.

New laws allow the office to lock and close illegal shops during their first inspection. The crackdown was made possible by tips from parents worried about stores selling to their children.

The joint effort by the Office of Cannabis Management, Auburn Mayor, and Cayuga County Sheriffs aims to end illegal cannabis sales in the county.
