The F.F. Thompson Foundation’s annual Thompson Health Golf Classic raised approximately $50,000 for a new Memory Care Neighborhood at Clark Meadows. Held at Cobblestone Creek Country Club in Victor on June 3, the event attracted 108 golfers.
The funds will help build a 12-apartment addition to Clark Meadows, Thompson’s enriched living community, ensuring that residents diagnosed with dementia can stay in a safe and familiar environment. Heather Rickett, the foundation’s director, noted that this tournament was the first major fundraiser for the $2.1 million project, with a fundraising goal of $650,000.
The foundation is also preparing for its Western Roundup Gala on Aug. 29 at Lincoln Hill Farms, which will further support the Memory Care Neighborhood. For tickets, visit Thompson Health Gala.
