Authorities say a Corning man was arrested after a months-long investigation into child pornography in the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes.
Kevin C. Pilon, 59, of Corning, was arrested on June 14 after a lengthy investigation into child pornography by the New York State Police.
Pilon faces charges of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child (D Felony) and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child (E Felony). The arrest followed a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. A search of Pilon’s residence revealed a large amount of child sexual abuse material on his personal computer.
Pilon was processed at SP Painted Post and is currently held at Steuben County Jail awaiting arraignment.
