New York State Police arrested Alyssa Venable, 23, after a high-speed chase on Thursday. Venable is accused of killing her three roommates in Virginia.
The chase ended around 5:30 p.m. when Venable’s car crashed after police used spike strips to stop the vehicle, which was traveling over 100 miles per hour at times. Venable sustained minor injuries and was taken to Strong Hospital.
Venable is charged with the murders of her roommates, aged 77, 65, and 60, in Spotsylvania, Virginia, a half-hour north of Richmond, on Tuesday night. She will be extradited back to Virginia to face charges.
