Steuben residents arrested after Memorial Day DWI crackdown

Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reported two arrests for driving while intoxicated over Memorial Day weekend.

On May 28, deputies arrested Luke C. McCaig, 39, of Addison, NY, after he crashed into a parked car on South Street in Addison. McCaig was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated DWI, and Fail to Keep Right. He was released with a summons to appear in Addison Town Court.


Earlier, on May 25, deputies arrested Nathaniel P. Scott, 48, of Savona, NY, during a traffic stop of a UTV on Old State Road in Bradford. Scott was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Operating with a BAC over .08%, and several vehicle violations.

He was released with a summons to appear in Bradford Town Court.
